Hayley Todd Graduates from the University of Mary Washington

Hayley Lynne Todd of Newport News, Va. graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in geography. She received the Meriwether Lewis and William Clark Award.

A total of 1,158 students graduated during the university's 104th Commencement in a graduate ceremony on Friday, May 8 and in an undergraduate ceremony on Saturday, May 9, on the university's Fredericksburg campus. Steven R. Staples, State Superintendent, delivered the commencement address for graduate students and Pamela Bridgewater, a Foreign Service officer who served as U.S. Ambassador in three countries, gave the undergraduate commencement address.

The university awarded 47 Master of Business Administration degrees, 87 Master of Education degrees, 8 Master of Science in Management Information Systems, 27 Master of Science in Elementary Education Degrees, 444 Bachelor of Arts degrees, 50 Bachelor of Liberal Studies degrees, 12 Bachelor of Professional Studies degrees and 483 Bachelor of Science degrees. Five graduates received both the MBA and the MSMIS in a dual-degree program.
